Dao became a Facebook friend of Lek Dean because they are both professional nurses. We had met Lek and her husband Paul before, on a previous visit to Chiang Mai, but forgot to make pictures. This time, on our tour through Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand, it wasn't much of a stretch to go and meet them in their residence on the outskirts of Chiang Mai.
Lek just loves to prepare food.
She had made us a nice early dinner, to be enjoyed on the porch.
The climate is so mild, that they don't even need air conditioning.
